I didn't set out to become a grant consultant. But when I discovered the power of words to unlock funding for organizations doing meaningful work, I was hooked.
With over 20 years working with youth and families, I know firsthand how transformative the right resources can be. I launched MJ Consulting in 2021, and it took off faster than I ever expected. Since then I've had the privilege of helping nonprofits across the country secure over $18M in funding. The thrill of "getting the grant" never gets old.
What sets me apart isn't just the writing. It's that I get genuinely invested in my clients. I'm an empath by nature, and that shows up in everything I do. When I'm not deep in grants work, you'll find me outside with my dogs, writing music, or fighting for the things I believe in.
