Meet The Founder
I didn't plan on becoming a grant consultant. But I've always been a writer, and when I discovered that words could unlock funding for organizations doing meaningful work, I knew I found my calling.
I spent over 20 years working with youth and families, and I've seen firsthand what the right resources can do for a community. I launched MJ Consulting in 2021, and I haven't slowed down since. I've had the privilege of helping nonprofits across the country secure over $18M in funding. For me, the thrill of "getting the grant" never gets old.
What sets me apart is that I get genuinely invested in my clients. I'm an empath by nature, and that shows up in everything I do. When I'm not deep in grants work, you can find me outside with my dogs, writing music, crafting, or fighting for the things I believe in.
